Litters

We have no puppies available at this time, however, we will be doing a breeding with our beautiful girl Lyric sometime in 2023 after she gets her championship, some obedience and working titles, and she passes all her health testing at two. Please keep an eye on this page for updates as we have an OUTSTANDING male picked to breed to Lyric. We expect this breeding will produce some MAGNIFICENT puppies and we can't wait to meet them! :)

Saying " I don't need a dog from a Reputable breeder who shows" is like saying, "I don't need a house from a builder who builds to code."

What sets a good breeder apart from all the listings you see online? Support and testing. Good breeders breed for a purpose and to better the breed. Each generation trying to improve the one before. How? By doing genetic testing on our breeding stock to ensure future generations are not affected with something which could have been prevented through testing. Yes testing costs into the thousands of dollars, but you can’t better a breed by making ‘blind choices’ in the whelping box. Without testing how would you know if you aren't breeding 2 Affected/At-Risk dogs together. As a breeder I also go one step further to publicly list the results on The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) . On OFA’s site you can research pedigrees for test results and help make informed decisions before a mating ever occurs. Buying a puppy is a lifeline commitment. Be sure the breeder you choose is making the right choices before a litter is produced.

Still reading?!  Perfect, here is some more information:

Once a litter is whelped I will announce it on my litters page and on the Vaccaro's Facebook page, should you decide you are interested in a Rottweiler puppy from us with health tested parents we invite you to contact us for more information. All we ask is that you copy and paste our puppy questionnaire below and then email it back to us. Once we receive the application we will be in touch with you as soon as possible. If you don't hear from us within a few days, please feel free to contact us again to make sure we received your questionnaire. Please answer honestly the questions below to assure yourself, and your dog, the future you both deserve, and to help the breeder understand more about you and the puppy's prospective home. Puppies are temperament placed in their forever homes, I loved them first, so I have a better idea of what each puppy needs. Puppies are raised in my home with daily interaction with the household. As they grow so does their living arrangements including going outside during the day (weather permitting) but are all back inside each evening. Please keep in mind that I breed a litter for myself first and will keep as many puppies as deemed necessary to continue with my show and breeding program. We don't breed to sell puppies. We breed to improve our dogs. We only have puppies occasionally... I also have a lifetime policy on every one of my puppies. If you can't keep it, it comes back to me. Period. Each puppy also comes with a written contract and 100% health guarantee.

Your puppy will come with a puppy packs, a 6 week trial of pet insurance and have first vaccination. Puppies are dewormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks before heading home (no this is not on the paperwork as it is basic neonatal protocol) and deworming will need to be done several times within their first year of life.  Please keep in mind there will still be more vaccinations needed at 12 and 16 weeks of age.

WORD OF ADVICE TO BUYERS!!

Please choose a breeder carefully. Make sure they health test their breeding stock and strive to produce sound puppies. Ask to see health records and provide links to their dogs pages on the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) website, don't just take their word that their dogs have been health tested, demand to see proof!! Be selective and not impulsive. Ask if they offer any health guarantee. Make sure they are active in the positive promotion of the breed and are active with their dogs, no matter what the venue or event.

Know that a well bred puppy is not cheap. You can find many other puppies out there for a lesser or more expensive price but quality will be sacrificed. Take into consideration what a reputable breeder has done and how much time, money and effort they put into their dogs and producing a litter.

Please be on the alert for people selling or breeding and producing unhealthy Rottweilers with short little noses like pugs and heads that look like they have hydrocephalus, or breeders that make you give a deposit before they offer any information on the sire and dam (health testing, pedigree, etc...). If they were ethical breeders they would not be breeding for these undesired traits, and they would not be asking for a deposit without providing information on the sire and dam of their future litters!!

Breeders who breed for these traits are not interested in upholding the standard of this lovely breed and they don't care about the puppies they produce. All they want to do is breed their dog's to sell puppies and make money off them. Pups-4-bucks breeders :((

Please, before you buy a Rottweiler, consider if you can afford any needed vet care, and, if not, start your rainy-day savings fund (a dog can bloat and, overnight, need a specialist's care). Dog ownership is an expensive luxury for those with the money, the TIME, and the energy to invest. An adult must willingly bear the responsibility, as children can't do all the work required. Are you prepared to spend time in training? Is this the right season of life for you to take on a pet? Does your work keep you away from home? (dogs are pack animals and don't thrive if home alone all day). Are you ready for the needed sacrifices? Do carefully consider these things.

WE DO NOT SHIP PUPPIES - You will be responsible to come and pick up your puppy in person so we can meet you and vice versa.
